Yes, <b>Lanzarote is the best island for surfing<\/b> in terms of pure quality, and especially <b>Famara beach<\/b>, which is an ideal paradise for beginners due to the quality of its gentle waves and its enormous size. But it also has beasts like El Quemao.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<b>Verdict:<\/b> Fuerteventura for more options and daily consistency. Lanzarote for higher world-class quality waves (both for pros and for beginners at Famara).\n<h3>What about Tenerife and Gran Canaria?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Tenerife<\/b> is the \u00abIsland of Balance.\u00bb It has the best of both worlds. The north (Puerto de la Cruz area) receives the same power as the other islands in winter.
